Artificial Magnetosphere for Mars

This is an untested idea the equivalent of a sci-fi idea or a hypothesis.

One of the main problems with living on Mars is the planet has no magnetic field so it doesn't protect you from the sun's UV rays which are harmful to life and can strip away a planet's atmosphere.

Since the sun rays are killer on mars and it doesn’t have a magnetosphere the idea is to form one with satellites stacked like honeycomb formation in a multiple layers. The satellites would be huge electromagnets with a large range have their own internal battery and charged by nuclear reactors on mars that use lasers hitting a portion of it that converts the laser into electricity and it can also distribute the charge throughout the comb formation creating a grid of electromagnetic satellites in the sky.
With a scope that is wide enough and stationery positioning to always point towards the sun they should only need to be like contacts create a concave shape around the planet and like an aerodynamic object in a wind tunnel curve the electromagnetic waves around the planet just as a normal magnetic field.
This way you won’t need many satellites and with a battery system in place it can support itself temporarily if the beam of charge from the planet stops for any reason like due to a dust storm it can suffice in keeping surviving for as long as needed.

What i’m not sure about is a solar storm which can hurt any electronic device on at the time would be able to harm this electromagnetic satellites, if their own magnetic field would shield them, since its design is unknown it’s hard to tell.
